MIDDLE SCHOOL

The NIS ‘Middle School’ provides a transition between ‘Lower School’ and ‘High School’ for students in Grade 6-8. NIS is committed to stimulating intellectual inquisitiveness and engaging students in meaningful educational experiences that will contribute to the cognitive and social development of the individual.

We aim to meet the needs of young people, thus providing the assistance and structure that students of this age need in order to make the optimal start to ‘High School’. The ‘Middle School’ curriculum comprises of the following elements

EFL = English Foreign Language (For school identified weaker students)
AFL = Arabic Foreign Language (For non- Arabs or school identified weaker students)
ICT = Information Communication Technology (Computers)
HRF = Health Related Fitness

1 = Students are invited by the EFL department based on Standardized test results and teacher recommendation
